About Us
We are the volunteers and leaders of Calvary Way Church, Crossroads Christian Church, First Baptist Church of Ukiah and First Presbyterian Church of Ukiah.
Why a multi-church VBS?
Based off the success of Ukiah VBS 2008, where we were able to share the love of Jesus Christ with 189 children, we decided to continue our commitment to partnering through a multi-church VBS. We believe that we are all brothers and sisters in our common belief as Christians, and that through partnership we can minister more effectively to a wider audience of children in the Ukiah valley and surrounding areas.
What do you believe?
Coming from a variety of backgrounds and traditions, each of our partner churches has their own distinct way of expressing the Christian faith. Despite our differences, however, we have a common unity in these core Christian beliefs.
We Believe that:
- There is one triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit
- God became human in Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary
- Jesus forgave our sins through His death on the cross
- Jesus conquered death when the Father rose Him from the grave
- The Holy Spirit indwells the Church and empowers its ministry
- God gave us the Bible as His infallible guide to salvation and Christian living.
